Shoots and Spores is a gourmet mushroom cultivation company based in Sparta, Georgia. We specialize in growing premium culinary mushrooms for restaurants across Georgia and beyond.

From spawn to substrate and grain spawn to fruiting, every step of our process is handled in-house at our indoor facility featuring over 3000sqft of climate controlled grow space. This level of control ensures exceptional quality, reliable yields, and the food safety that professional kitchens depend on.

A Fully Integrated Cultivation Model

What sets us apart is our full control of the cultivation cycle. All spawn, substrate, and fruiting blocks are produced in-house — giving us complete oversight of quality, yield, and food safety from culture to harvest.

We don’t rely on outside spawn suppliers or mass-produced grow blocks. Every mushroom that leaves our farm begins as part of our own production system, developed and refined to ensure optimal performance at scale.
